Details

I'd like to see an optional tap ripple in the Gaia UI so that the user can better know where the OS is registering their taps.

This also helps to provide feedback for scrolling, dragging, and inputting text.

We plan on having some tap indication in 2.3 but I don't believe it will cover many of the cases that Brett asked for. We plan on showing a ripple effect but only on some press-able objects like lists, not on non press-able areas. It's not really intended to give users feedback for scrolling or dragging.
