This is an enhancement request for the PDF Viewer component in which the file name displayed in the 'open/save' dialog would be editable. This would allow changing the file name directly prior to download (when the user is keenly aware of the file contents and can give the file a good name).
The enhancement only requires making the file name (already displayed) to be editable and therefore implies no new UI strings.
1) click on a link to a PDF file
=> PDF viewer opens
2) click on the 'open/save' icon
=> a dialog opens showing the file name and asking the user if she wants to save
or open the file with another program.
* here it would be great to be able to edit the file name *
3) click on 'save'
=> the file is saved, but currently uses the file name generated by the original web site, usually something which worked for the authors but often does not have their names or subject matter.

I agree this, but this means the button changes to "Save as" from "Download".
So, maybe should discuss whether to increase an or replace to the "Save as" button?
In addition, as an alternative, the current can use File - Save Page As or Ctrl+S hotkey to do this.
