Right now you can add your twitter profile as a personal link and it auto-adds a twitter icon link, but it's not a super apparent UX. I think we should explicitly be asking people to enter their twitter username with a dedicated field. Let's add another field to the form. See what I mean here: https://redpen.io/cx1de2675303427479 (we should eventually also add fields for google+ and facebook)
Thanks, Cassie. Did not know about that functionality. Is there a way to query the dbase to see which hosts (preferably limited to events in the future only) have included a twitter link to their profile?
I'm not sure, but I think Gavin said there was. Flagging him.

We don't have code written to do this, but all the data is there, so we can do it at some point. It's not a quick task, but it's do-able.
Would love to get that list as soon as possible, so that I can create Twitter lists as part of our Maker Party social media strategy.
I don't think this is going to create a large # of twitter accounts, unfortunately. Feel this is more of an account management issue.

@Brett: you think people wouldn't fill out a dedicated field? I trust your judgement, but am curious about why. Is it because many don't have Twitter accounts, or because they just wouldn't bother to fill out the field, or because of privacy concerns? Something else?
