From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:0.9.4) Gecko/20011009 Netscape6/6.2 BuildID: 20011009 if you increase the font size (using the toolbar or menu) the switch to bold (or any other font style) the change to another font style, composer will mirror what ever you type. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.click on format>Size>larger and type a few characters hit return 2.then click on format>text style>bold and type a few charaters click on format>text style>bold (to turn off bold) then hit return 3.click on format>text style>italic and type (when you hit the space bar you will see double of what you just typed. If you hit the return the mirrored text will move below the cursor.) Actual Results: You will see double of what you just typed Expected Results: I would expect to be able to change the fonts style or size at will without this happening. if you go to delete the line that was mirrored it will erase all the text.
Confirmed using Mac/2001091311 (0.9.4).

Saw on Linux too, not exactly the same results but the italized line gets really wacko (cursor jumping, and text displayed in a semi-mirror way). EDITORBASE, this is pretty likely to get encountered by an end user.

I can reproduce the problem with 094 build on WINNT. I can NOT reproduce the problem with trunk build on WINNT. Something must have been checked in on the trunk which fixed this. Marking WORKSFORME.
