Details
The tool should discourage making "major" changes to tasks that have already been completed (and maybe also those that are in progress) so that contributor task history + feedback is faithful to the task that was actually completed. When an admin attempts to saves changes to an existing task, the tool can display a warning like: "This task has already been completed by 229 contributors. Your changes will affect these contributors' task history as well as any feedback about the task. Are you sure, etc." For tasks in progress, perhaps this ties in with in-tool notifications (Bug 1030996).

This will require adding a warning to the edit flow when a user makes changes to a task that has been completed by contributors.
