Without advertising of Firefox enabled in preferences, opening tracking page in latest SeaMonkey release results in an optimal experience in supported browsers page not listing SeaMonkey (or any Linux browsers).

Confirmed see the screenshot.
As of today there is still a message.
To not though that message will be shown only once if you click on the checkbox.
Basically they announce
> We have updated our list of supported web browsers. Although you can still use fedex.com if your browser is not supported, we recommend using one of the browsers below for an optimal experience.
which is not denying the access but sending a warning about not being sure it will work. I understand the struggle for SeaMonkey users. I'm tempted to close as WONTFIX.

Not classifying FF and SM the same is one reason why TE exists as a Bugzilla product to select. Sniffing for browser name rather than browser function is the root problem, not what browser name is or is not recommended or "supported". GeckoisGecko! No site should be supporting *any* "browser"!

Felix,
"Sniffing for browser name rather than browser function is the root problem, not what browser name is or is not recommended or "supported"."
Totally agreed, my comment was about focusing energy where we have a chance to change things and/or where/when the user is unable to use the site because it is blocked or not operational. We usually put a lower priority on non-blocking issues.

Lack of improvement continues in Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:36.0) Gecko/20100101 SeaMonkey/2.33.1 on http://www.fedex.com/us/ship/ (create a shipment). I used its contact form to point here.

Using SeaMonkey 2.40 I'm able to navigate around the Fedex site without any nagging overlays. New user agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.11; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0 SeaMonkey/2.40
The older user agent (2.33.1) still causes the unsupported browser overlay. Depending on the results Felix is seeing now, I'm tempted to close it, as it will be fixed as users update.
Felix - can you test for us please?

As implied by comment 0, deselecting "advertise Firefox compatibility" in prefs advanced HTTP networking is required in order to test for SeaMonkey "support". Fedex hasn't changed anything that I can tell.

The site has changed; the problematic pages in the screenshots no longer exists. I can't reproduce the problem anywhere on the site.
