Details

One of the goals I try to follow in all my add-ons is to keep their preferences dialogs as similar as possible to firefox's native options dialog, so they're more intuitive to use by the user. (Also, the huge amount of preferences in some of them make the in-line preferences system kind of unusable).

I think it would be good to provide a way for the "options" button of each add-on in the add-on manager to open its in-content preferences tab if provided (somehow), rather than its own preferences dialog window, to allow add-ons to keep their preferences dialogs consistent with the native ones.
