When opening the apps marketplace from a Firefox for android browser, if I visit wikapedia layer I get a notification every 12 hours about download wikapedia.
Message has a marketplace rocket icon and says "1 update touch to download wikapedia"
This only happens when I visited and did not download or if I install the wiki add on and deactivate it. Is there a way to stop it? It's pretty annoying.

Bill or Myk: I'm not sure if this is a Marketplace bug or not, but I think you're in a better position to debug so passing to you.

rmcguigan: that message indicates that you've installed the Wikipedia app from the Marketplace. You should be able to remove that app by going to the Android All Apps screen, long-pressing its icon, and dragging the icon to the Uninstall button that appears.
Alternately, if you're using a Nightly build of Firefox for Android, you can go to Tools > Apps (inside Firefox), long-press the icon for the app, and select Uninstall from the context menu that appears.
I'm resolving this as invalid, as this is the expected behavior for an installed app that has an update. (More or less. The update should appear about once every 24 hours, not once every 12. But I suspect that problem is bug 1035999, which we recently fixed.)
Nevertheless, please let me know how those steps worked for you, or if you have any other questions about the installation and update process for the app!
