Bug 1029175 has brought small CSS changes to the notification tray and the notifications it contains. Those changes don't apply to any update/OTA notification, nor to the music controls (ie. they still have a darker background than the rest of the tray, and don't have any seperator).

Hi, sorry for the delay. Yes, they should be styled to match. FYI - there is work being done for 2.1 to refresh the utility tray more thoroughly, which also aligns the music player between lockscreen and utility tray: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1038723
