Ditto. Just got one for an app I had uninstalled last week in testing.

This is usually an indication that the app is still considered installed by the DOMApplicationRegistry, even if the APK has been uninstalled. Firefox should check for this mismatch on startup and remove apps from the registry if they're no longer installed. It seems like it isn't doing that. We should figure out why. In the meantime, the workaround is to go to Tools > Apps, find the icon for the app that Firefox thinks is still installed, long-press it, and select Uninstall from the context menu that appears.

Myk, When I do this "long press the app icon" instead the Android copy/paste, share menu comes up.

Benjamin: that means you're using a version of Firefox that doesn't yet have bug 1019054, which landed in Firefox 33 (currently in the Beta distribution channel). If you're using the release version of Firefox, then another option is to reinstall the app and then re-uninstall the app from Android's All Apps screen, after which Firefox should pick up the uninstallation and correctly remove the app from its registry. Of course it's possible for the bug to recur, such that Firefox again fails to remove the app from its registry. In that case, the more detailed information you can provide, the likelier we are to be able to identify and fix the problem! (In particular, I would be interested in which app(s) are exhibiting the behavior and the precise steps you take to install the app in Firefox, change to the All Apps screen, and uninstall the app from there. Plus information about your device, like its hardware brand/model, Android version, and any unusual configuration such as developer settings or rooted status.)

Per bug 1235869, we're going to disable the Android web runtime, so we won't fix this bug in it. (This is part of a bulk resolution of bugs in the Firefox for Android::Web Apps component, from which I attempted to exclude bugs that are not specific to the runtime, but it's possible that I included one accidentally. If so, I'm sorry, and please reopen the bug!)
