Metabug to track the process of making Thimble run offline on embedded hardware (OpenWRT, BRCK, Rpi).

Some work has already been done here in FriendlyCode project. https://github.com/toolness/friendlycode

Rationale: Running Web maker events in places like Africa and Asia where Internet connectivity is unreliable. Read Mark Surman's blog posts from recent visit to East Africa.

"As I was reminded at MozFest East Africa, even online is offline in much of Africa (and many other parts of the world). In the city, the cost of data for high bandwidth applications like media streaming — or running a Webmaker workshop — is expensive. And, outside the city, huge areas have connections that are spotty or non-existent."

Thanks for filing this Arky, I guess the same bug will cover appmaker and popcorn. These too, require a lot of band width.
This would be really amazing especially in the rural areas/villages where there is very low internet connectivity!
