Details |
When a user enters a search query into the Awesome Bar, Search Suggestions should be surfaced in the Awesome Bar Results. These results will appear underneath the "Searching For" row. A user can keyboard down to highlight the search suggestions, and left and right to move through the items. Hitting enter brings up Search Results for that suggestion. If a user is on the far left, and hits left, the search suggestion on the far right will be highlighted. Search suggestions must auto-populate and auto-refresh as user types. A user must be able to turn search suggestions on and off.

I'm not convinced that this is necessary anymore, maybe we'll reopen it when work begins though.
