Steps to reproduce:

Search was set to Google (Firefox Default) installed Alexa Toolbar, search changed to Web Search (powered by Google)


Actual results:

Tried to change to back to Google & set this as user set in about:config, but when I restart Firefox, search is reset back to Web Search.


Expected results:

Search should have been permanently set to Google even after resetting Firefox.

Hi,

I'm sorry you're having issues with the alexa toolbar. We're working to improve how Firefox interacts with these kinds of toolbars and other software.
