Build ID: 2001109 In composer it is diffucult to place the cursor at the end of a line in "Show All Tags" view Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open Composer 2.Type 4 lines of text 3.Switch to "Show All Tags" view 4.Click at the end of the third line of text. Actual Results: All of the text will be selected. In order to properly place the cursor at the end of the line you need to move the mouse pointer to the right edge of the last character and make sure an I-beam appears on the screen, then click and it will be placed at the end. Expected Results: I would expect that the cursor would be easier to place while in "Show all Tags" view.
One other thing to note, if you type while everything appears selected the text will not type over the selection. Instead the text types at the beginning of the first line.
Summary: Diffucult to place cursor at end of line in "Show All Tags" view → Diffucult to place cursor at the end of a line in "Show All Tags" view
It is also ver difficult to put curser at the end of horizontal line. If you click at the end of the Horizontal Line, it highlights the whole line. You either have to be perfect on clicking at the end of the line (and even then sometimes doesn't work), or you can use the 'end ' button on your keyboard to get to the end of the horizontal line. I would expect to be able to click at the end of the line without having the horizontal line highlighted. Build 20011009 Windows 2K

I think its related to another selection problem: bug 103867
What is this doing in DOM Core? :-) Sending to Editor:Composer since it seems to be a problem with Show All Tags (what do I know?)

reassigning to cmanske, seems like a side affect of being able to click on the body tag itself. charlie, you can decide if this is a bug or feature.

For CSS mode, being able to click on the body tag is almost the only suitable way to specify CSS declarations on it... Just my two eurocents...
Clicking *on* the body tag isn't the issue. It's when you click past the end of text on a line. In normal mode, caret snaps to the end of the line. In Show All Tags mode, it acts as if you clicked on the body icon. This would be easy to fix if we could get the offset of where the user clicked relative to the body frame, but our event model is too lame to supply that (last time I looked -- anyone know how to get that info?)
