User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140716183446

Steps to reproduce:

In the message body pane, type Ctrl + or Ctrl -

Actual results:

Nothing

Expected results:

Should have zoomed the text in or out. These are almost universal hotkeys which work on a wide variety of apps and worked prior to version 31.
Unable to reproduce.
Working as expected on Windows 7 and Firefox latest version 31.0
Unable to reproduce.
Works as expected on Windows 7 Professional, FF ver.31.0

It seems to be working here now also. Perhaps because I disabled a number of add-ons.

You can close this then. Thanks.

LINUX Opensuse 13.1, 64, screen 2560x 1440 on 13"

TB 31.0
ZOOM works when reading email
ZOOM in compose window does not work. Forced to use KMAIL.
Have set my DPI to 175 and most applications act accordingly.
TB and FF do need a manual CTRL ++ in order to be able to read (TB& FF are DPI independent).
Reproduce always

I confirm this behavior:
ZOOM works when reading email.
ZOOM in compose window does not work (independent of composing email in HTML format or in plain-text).

The initial comments saying it works - please read, guys.

This was marked as a Thunderbird bug, not Firefox.

I confirm this - works in message window, does NOT work in compose window.

I use this a lot so it is quite annoying...
This was bug 1038635 and the fix will appear in the next minor update (31.1)
