On the past two days, both khuey (on a Nexus 5) and I (on a Flame) have been seeing lots of parent process crashes, basically whenever we go to anything that scrolls other than the browser. (For example, open the dialer app and go to the call log.) I just took a look in gdb and found that it looks like a crash due to infinite recursion at mozilla::layers::Collect (gfx/layers/apz/src/APZCTreeManager.cpp:92).

This basically makes the phone unusable for dogfooding.

My current build is https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/82df3654cd80 but I was also seeing it on a slightly older revision.

Yeah bug 1041510 has some fixes for this, but it doesn't cover all the cases yet and more fixes are coming.

I'm still seeing this after bug 1041510 landed. I have about 600 contacts and when I scroll through them as fast as possible it crashes the entire phone. This is pretty much always reproducible for me.
