User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140716183446 Steps to reproduce: Firefox 31 simply has a very large memory leak. It requires no steps to recreate other then installing. I am checking the memory usage for Firefox.exe via Windows Task Manager every 2-5 minutes and every time the memory usage is almost 1.3x the amount it was using the last time I checked. It eventually ends up using all of my RAM in about 20 to 30 minutes. I may have to stop using Firefox if this does not get a hotfix or is fixed in the next version, as I have very little RAM and I have to use Firefox and many other programs all at the same time. The screenshot provided shows that Firefox is using ~800MBs of RAM, which is almost 200 to 300 more then it usually uses before Firefox 31.
EDIT: It may not be 800 MBs, I don't really know what unit Memory usage there is in...But I assume it is since I only have 2 GBs of RAM and a quarter of it is is used for Windows and it seems to stop when it reaches 1,500,000 K.

This could be Firefox storing sessions data do to un-closed tabs and windows. Also, make sure you disable plugins as they could be increasing your memory usage.

Also, make sure you disable plugins as they could be increasing > your memory usage. Also start Windows in safe mode, and Firefox in safe mode. You'd need to much more information to this bug report for someone else to reproduce what you see. For now, incomplete
