Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140722072531

Steps to reproduce:

Using an Android phone i can enable encryption (btw, FDE is a WIP in Firefox OS now) for the entire phone, so i must enter a password everytime i turn on/unlock the phone, useful for protect user data if phone is stolen or lost.
But after i insert the password, i must insert the pin/s (DSDS related) for the sim/s, that leads to 2/3 code inserted. Too much security could lead to no security at all, because i could be driven to remove the pin/s for the sim/s, cause the phone is safe with the password, right? WRONG!

A thief could easily use the (now) pinless sim/s and spend the entire credit, or worse if the sim is from a subscription plan, all this in the time i call to block the sim.

Expected results:

So, since data's are already encrypted with FDE, why not to offer an option to save the sim pin/s in phone, so sims are enabled by the saved code instead of manual user input?
Something like this already happen when you put the phone in offline mode, pin isn't required when quitting from it.
Firefox OS is not being worked on
