User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:30.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/30.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140605174243

Steps to reproduce:

I tried the link! That's https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/31.0/releasenotes/?uri=/thunderbird/releasenotes/&locale=en-US&version=31.0&os=WINNT&buildid=20140717165725

Actual results:

Getsatisfaction.org helpfully told me: "Sorry, the community that you’re looking for has been retired and is no longer available. If you need help, please contact the company you're looking for directly."

Expected results:

I should have been able to tell you that I am finding the new TB 31.0 for Win7 to be annoying and clumsy (on certain features that are NOT listed as having been updated).
more specifically
1. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/31.0/releasenotes/?uri=/thunderbird/releasenotes/&locale=en-US&version=31.0&os=WINNT&buildid=20140717165725
2. click " tell us what you think" which is http://getsatisfaction.com/mozilla_messaging/

We should fix this same time as bug 1042526

Indeed, but until that fix really lands, this is a bug in its own right, and a bad one, too.
Duplicate bugs can easily be overlooked especially when, as before my intervention, there's no explicit reference made to them in the target bug, neither in summary, nor in comments. Internal awareness of such issues in status meetings etc. and people apparently working on this is good, but documented awareness and ownership would be better so that contributors/users not privy to such internals can also know whats going on wrt these serious PR failures.

Mark, the correct link for "tell us what you think" is https://support.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird

Do you want to do this and bug 1042240 together?
Or wait on new release notes list of bug 1042526

Now fixed in r130921, should go live in ~ 4 mins. I've made it the same as the beta pages, and fixed the other support link as well.

Hopefully I'll get to looking at some of the other bugs/issues later today.
