Seen on linux redhat 6.2 (branch build: 2001-10-12-05-0.9.4) Steps to reproduce: 1. Go to the above url. 2. Then choose the installer " netscape-i686-pc-linux-gnu-installer.tar.gz". 3. tar -xvzf netscape-i686-pc-linux-gnu-installer.tar.gz NOTE:tar (child): cannot open: No such file or director tar (child): Error is not recoverable: exiting now tar (child): Child returned status 2 tar (child): Error exit delayed from previous error Grace, have you seen this? Please address this bug to the appropriate component as needed. Thanks!

where did you download the file to? did you tar from same directory? it sounds like it is not seeing your gz file. I cannot reproduce on RH 7.2
Steps to reproduce: 1. u/pmac/builds 2. creat a new folder in the build directory. 3. mkdir 101205094 4. it would be like this /u/pmac/builds/101205094 5. download the installer to that folder on step 4. 6. tar xvzf " netscape-i686-pc-linux-gnu-installer.tar.gz". Grace,I tar the same directory which /u/pmac/builds/101205094

maybe you did not get whole file? Can you try again? Neither K'Trina nor I can reproduce.
Verified on Linux redhat 6.2 (branch build: 2001-10-17-04-0.9.4), it installed fine now.
