+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1044286 +++

STR:

1. Set a timer in the clock app for 2 minutes.
2. Watch the clock app count down the time.
3. Observe that nothing happens when 0:00 is crossed.

I feel like I must be missing something -- surely we can't have broken such basic functionality.  Can someone tell me what I should be looking for in adb logcat as the 0:00 countdown mark approaches?

Like bug 1044286, this should probably be duped to bug 1037079 -- but since I can't see 1037079, I'm going to leave duping it to someone who can.

For what it's worth, the functionality works in the latest build.
