We are using Lightning with CalDAV Calendars (SOGo Groupware) for many years. Suddenly some users have reported that several events are missing in Lightning, while they are correctly displayed in the SOGo web interface and on their mobile phones. After investigating the problem for a while I found out, that opening and saving the culprit event in the web interface lets it reappear in Lightning. Doing that for every missing event would be too time-consuming. Monitoring that process in the raw calendar database indicated, that there's no difference between the original event and the newly saved one. Mysterious. I kept on trying different settings and profiles without success. The events remained missing, even in completely new TB user profiles. Finally I found a (possibly temporary) solution: Enabling Offline Sync immediately lets appear the missing events. They actually stay visible after disabling offline sync.

Could you enable calendar.debug.log and calendar.debug.log.verbose in the advanced config editor (Options > Advanced > General > Config Editor) and show us some logs about what is happening when a such broken event is being synchronized? You might have to reset the calendar, or possibly isolate the event into a different calendar.
