Nightly (current build) is crashing dozens of times per day, usually within a few minutes after starting. There is nothing specific that triggers the crash. It seems to be completely random. The version of Firefox 31 from Fedora works without problem. A typical crash report is: https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/06100b50-8702-45ed-807e-80cd32140726
Some more information: Happens with version 340.24 of the NVIDIA binary blob driver but not with version 331.89. Happens with the latest Nightly (34.0a1) but not with the latest Aurora (33.0a2). I am running Fedora 20 64-bit.
https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/767575/unix-graphics-announcements-and-news/linux-solaris-and-freebsd-driver-340-32-long-lived-branch-release-/ Can you try 340.32 driver, it's newer than 340.24 with more bugfixes. https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/766018/unix-graphics-announcements-and-news/linux-solaris-and-freebsd-driver-343-13-beta-/ Also try 343.13 beta if possible, it's a newer driver branch.
I have been running with 340.32 for several days now and have not had any problems. I think it is safe to say that this is no longer a problem.
