User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_9_4) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/35.0.1916.153 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: Step 1 : Switch on the WIFI. Step 2 : Switch on the flight mode. The Wifi Button and notification is still on. Actual results: The Wifi Button and notification is still on even after switching on the flight mode. Expected results: After switching on the flight mode, all the radio signals should automatically get switched off
It would be helpful to know which device this issue is happening on, but it could be that the WiFi and flight mode toggles are now independent of each other because of the use of in-flight WiFi. Airplane mode definitely turns the 3G/4G radios off, but even after turning flight mode on, you can switch on WiFi after that, on many devices.
