From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i586; en-US; rv:0.9.5+) Gecko/20011012
BuildID: 2001101212

Platform: RH Linux 7.1, latest mozilla nightly, Flash 5.0 r47.

I was trying to reproduce bug 95539, which describes the browser freezing when
visiting the above URL. I went to the above URL and my browser crashed instead
of freezing. The crash happens within a second of the animation starting; I get
a brief glimpse of a school desk, then the browser window is gone and the
talkback window opens. I've filled out at least two talkbacks on this. After
rereading bug 95539 and searching for other bugs about flash causing crashes, I
thought it best to file a new bug instead of just adding a comment to 95539.

I narrowed it down to http://www.nobodyhere.com/justme/i.swf and wrote a simple
html page to load just this SWF. Loading the page consistently causes the
browser to crash.

The SWF file apparently has some audio content; I hear the speaker click when
the animation starts, as if it had opened the sound device. I use KDE, so I
tried running "artsdsp /path/to/mozilla", but there was no difference. I don't
have any sound-using applications active, but kde has system sounds turned on.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install Flash.
2.Go to the above URL.
3.Don't blink.

Actual Results: Browser window disappears, talkback window opens.

WFM 2001101202 linux
WFM - sound OK w/hour old CVS build, Linux.

System: RH7.1, Crossover plugin w/Shockwave, Java installed,
Gnome w/system sounds (not playing at the moment though)

WFM on Linux RH 7.1 using CVS trunk build from 20011221 for flash plugin
5.0 r47.
WFM too, after upgrading from RedHat 7.1 to 7.2. In retrospect this was almost
certainly a problem with my system rather than with mozilla.
