use autocomplete code and add a button for invoking To, From, ... etc to add
emails quickly for email filters, in addition to a input box, so it would switch
or add another line below the first two dropdown lists and box for the add
button, and autocomplete input area just like compose.

I'm not quite sure I understand you.

Are you suggesting something like the following?
1. User creates a new filter.
2. User selects 'Sender', 'To', 'Cc' or 'To or Cc' in the first drop-down list.
3. User starts typing in the text box. As s/he types, autocomplete kicks in and
suggests matching contacts in his/her address books.

That would be pretty cool.

yeah, that is exactly what I was thinking at first.. but then what if the user
wants to use "subject" then the autocomplete would not be appropriate there.. so
I was trying to say that under that first line, add an autocomplete boxed area
if the dropdown is toggled to 'Sender', 'To', 'Cc', or 'To or Cc'

then also add the button to add addresses like when you click on the +address
icon in composer.  This would be very useful for people with large amount of
addresses in their books.  So you would have both functions, and the subject inbox.

This would allow a user filter for both the inbox content and addresses at the
same time, vs a multi-line filter for the same thing as it is now the user then
has to manually type in the correct full addresses.

Verifying. Although bug 136946 is newer, it seems to be further along.
