Details

Typing a character over highlighted value in input type="text" with size and maxlength of the same number, a character will not appear until next characters typed in.

Tried several variations on the theme suggested by the reporter and they all work for me using 2002021412 Linux. Without a URL or solid testcase this can't really be persued further. Reporter, re-open and provide a proper testcase if you can still reproduce this in a recent Mozilla build.
