Hoping to add the following logos to https://welcome.webmaker.org/from/net-neutrality: - reddit - Free Press - Fight for the Future - Open Media - Media Alliance - EveryLibrary - Engine Advocacy We need permission, then I'll throw together a rough mock, and we can work out logo placement and order from there.
What qualifies as "permission"? We have emails from the partners that sent the logo files / links to us to use for the Net Neutrality Maker Party marketing / landing page and they know that they'll be mentioned and included in our announcements. Do the emails from each of these partners count? Let me know if I need to reach out to each partner again for explicit permission.
Aki, here are the logos. I read from Alina's statement that we do indeed have permissions. >> Reddit logo >> http://www.reddit.com/about/alien/ links to http://reddit.com/ >> Free Press >> http://www.etopiamedia.net/bplw/images/freepresslogo1.jpg http://www.freepress.net/ >> Fight for the Future >> https://www.fightforthefuture.org/images/branding/color_black.png https://www.fightforthefuture.org/ >> Open Media >> http:///stuff.webmaker.org/teach-assets/laurarandom/OpenMediaLogo.png https://openmedia.ca/ >> Media Alliance >> http:///stuff.webmaker.org/teach-assets/laurarandom/MediaAllianceLogo.png http://www.media-alliance.org/ >> EveryLibrary >> http:///stuff.webmaker.org/teach-assets/laurarandom/everylibrarylogo.png http://everylibrary.org/ >> Engine Advocacy >> http://stuff.webmaker.org/teach-assets/laurarandom/engineadvocacylogo.jpg http://engine.is/
I think that qualifies. But Alina, could you please forward all those emails from me so I have the logo files they specified? I'd rather make sure we're using whichever logos they want us using. Then I can get to work on trying to lay them out in a manner that doesn't make :cassiemc cringe when she gets back.
For documentation, I'm pasting below the reply I received from Chris in email. Aki - I'll forward the emails from the partners that contained the logo files.
