Those prevent us from just leaving srcdir alone when invoking jemalloc's configure, and I'd rather stop doing this.
Note this was sent upstream (can't give a link, because the jemalloc-discuss archives are not up-to-date yet, and it hasn't landed there yet either)

Turns out the mail was still on my server because somehow my iptables were broken. Damn NetworkManager.
