Details

1. Start by opening the profile manager (-ProfileManager agrument)
2. Choose Create Profile. The info screen appears with only a Cancel and Continue buttons.
3. Press the C key.

Expected: nothing happens
Actual: A file dialog appears for some reason.

If you accept the dialog, the profile directory is set to the root of the profile directory instead. This will then delete all of your profiles if you remove the profile later on.

An alternate step 3 is:

3. Forget that the profile manager has an intro screen and assume that the name field is focused. Use a name with C in it and press Enter to close the profile manager. Unfortunately, what you've actually done is close the file dialog and you're set the profile to use the destructive root of the profile directory instead.
4. Some time later, wonder why all of your main profile's data is gone.
This bug is filed in a bugzilla component related to pre-Firefox code which no longer exists. I believe it is no longer relevant and I am therefore closing it INCOMPLETE.

If you believe that this bug is still valid and needs to be fixed, please reopen it and move it to the Toolkit:Startup and Profile System product/component.
