From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.5) Gecko/20011012 BuildID: 2001101202 Started mozilla, opened a 2nd window with File->New Navigator Window. Try to close new one with File->Close and all windows quit. Didn't see a core file. Performing a Ctrl-W (which should do same thing) is fine, only that window went away, but using File->Close on menu was broken. Get this from shell when it stops: Gdk-ERROR **: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) serial 8873 error_code 3 request_code 15 minor_code 0 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch mozilla 2. File->New Navigator Window 3. File->Close on old or new Actual Results: All windows disappeared. Expected Results: Only window I did File->Close on should disappear.
No problem over here, linux milestone 0.9.5.

That doesn't look like an exit.. it looks like a crash? Kind if resembles todays bug 104550. I haven't seen Gdk-error crashes for a while, and I don't see this crash nor the one in bug 104550. Tested with both a current CVS build as well as 2001101202 on RH7.1 + erratas

hrm, i cannot repro this using 2001.10.15.13-trunk comm bits on rh6.2. am using an existing profile, too. pls reopen if this is still a problem for you.

Just an idea. Perhaps it is some inter ferance from a library? ie, gtk upgrade or something. I have this problem too (bug 104764) and I'm using the latest Ximian Gnome on RedHat 6.2). gtk+-1.2.10-ximian.9 glib-1.2.10-ximian.2
