It seems to be flash related. See: https://code.google.com/p/gdata-issues/issues/detail?id=6527&can=6&q=label%3AAPi-YouTube&colspec=API%20ID%20Type%20Status%20Priority%20Stars%20Summary If we default to html5, we can get some (most?) clips working. Example, even vevo is html5. A patch ages ago that we could use to do this: https://github.com/mozilla/popcorn-js/pull/360/files
