I'd like to see the Messages App be a bit smarter with previewing message content on the Messages App Messages list screen.

Currently, a thread with an MMS message as the most recent item will simply display the orange MMS text and nothing more.

I propose that instead of JUST showing the orange MMS marker, it shows whatever text is in the MMS as well. Perhaps Putting the text first and then the MMS at the end of the preview in brackets like this [MMS], would be better.

If you want to keep it the same, MMS: and then the preview text could also work.

The issue exists for some time now: bug 959231

It's flagged as a mentored bug but sadly nobody came to look at it yet.
