User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140716183446
Steps to reproduce:
Used Firefox for a couple of hours
Actual results:
After a couple of hours, some plug ins (namely LastPass and Old Default Image Style) stop working correctly. I cannot click about:addons from the tools menu, I have to enter it manually. When I try to exit Firefox the save tabs dialogue pops up but nothing happens when I pick an option. I have to end the process from Task Manager
Expected results:
Preferably no add-ons stop working about a couple of hours. Or I'm able to close Firefox normally
You have a ton of add-ons, maybe the issue is here.
A good test is resetting the default profile (Firefox saves it in a folder stored on the desktop) to see if the issue appears again:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/reset-firefox-easily-fix-most-problems
It would be better to install no add-on during the test (or only a few like ABP).
In addition you can find more support here: https://support.mozilla.org/

Still, why not just creating a new profile (or even using safe mode)? How is restoring from the backup easier than using the profile manager? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles
For the issue with about:addons, I'd try disabling "Max Tabs" and maybe "What about:.." (not sure what that does).
And remove some extensions you are not sure you need (especially the disabled ones).

Hi Timmc,
Did the suggestions from Loic and Aleksei helped to resolve your issue ?
Also, can you please test this on the latest Firefox release (43.0.4) or latest Nightly (46.0a1, https://nightly.mozilla.org/) and tell me if this still reproduces for you ? When doing this please use a new fresh Firefox profile, maybe also in safe mode (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems).
Thanks,
Cosmin.

If you can still reproduce this, feel free to reopen it and provide the requested information.
Thanks,
Cosmin.
