User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:30.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/30.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140605174243

Steps to reproduce:

Click on Write". "Write: Dialog box opens. Compose email. Click on "Send".

Actual results:

The Sending message Dialog box appears, Showing both Status & Progress.
Now is when I notice the Bug. The horizontal Progress Bar graph always goes immediately to 100% when "Connecting" or "Connected".
When the Sending message Dialog box changes to "Sending mail"
It immediately jumps to some number more then 90% & stays there until
it has finished sending the message.

Expected results:

The Sending message Dialog box should show actual & correct progress percentages for all 3 processes, "Connecting", "Connected" & "Sending mail"
You will need a SLOW internet connection to reproduce this problem!
I noticed this too with bigger messages (on Linux). The progress comes to 99% and then hangs there. Probably uploading the data.

But maybe this can't be fixed in TB itself. Maybe it pushes the data to the network module (Necko) which acknowledges the receipt so TB shows 99% done. Only then necko pushes the buffered data to the network, which may take a while.
