After creating a new Blogs & News Feeds account, when I click on Manage Subscriptions (to add my initial News Feed), I get an XML Parsing Error

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:29.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/29.0 SeaMonkey/2.26.1 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140612174402

Steps to reproduce:

In Mail Window, I clicked on "Manage Subscriptions" in a new account called "Blogs and News Feeds".

Actual results:

Timestamp: 8/3/2014 3:07:43 PM
Error: undefined entity
Source File: chrome://messenger-newsblog/content/feed-subscriptions.xul
Line: 200, Column: 9
Source Code:
        <button id="close"

Expected results:

I should have gotten some kind of Dialog the would have allowed me to add one or more RSS or Atom Feeds to the new account I had just created. I'm not sure exactly what should have happened because I've never used this part of SeaMonkey before.
I would consider looking into fixing this problem myself if I could get help getting started. I've been a software engineer for many years so it's conceivable that I could do it with some initial guidance.

This should have been fixed by the second patch in Bug 368266

You should move to 2.26.1 final or wait for 2.28 release. Or apply the patch referenced if you know what you're doing. Please feel free to email me if you require any assistance.

This problem still exists for me in 2.26.1

I can confirm that 2.26.1 is missing the relevant change - https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=8369494 from bug 368266
If there is a 2.26.2 then we could request it lands there, but it will definitely be in 2.29 when it comes out.

This should be fixed in SeaMonkey 2.29b
Can someone clarify if this is still happening in 2.31?

I'm not getting this error, but I'm not even sure I'm doing the STR
properly.
