1048202 - "Messages" word in message could be seen drifting when we enter message app

Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to message application


Actual results:

The "Messages" word in the message application (close to New message icon) could be seen drifting from middle to right towards the new message icon.


Expected results:

The "Messages" word in the message application shouldn't be seen drifting.

Hi Julien

Attached video see the "Messages" word shifting.

I have a little problem w.r.t Bugzilla emails (update). I am not getting emails for any update on bugzilla. Theses is happening for some of the bugzilla not all. For example, I didn't receive any mails from this bugzilla despite being in cc.

Any idea?

Ok, so it's the intended behavior.

When it's starting, there is some "magic" (in all applications) to move the text in the middle of the header, if there is enough place.

I _think_ they're working to make it faster and less noticeable, but I'm not sure. Michael, do you know?

There is no work currently to make this faster. It is possible that moving from the header building block to the gaia-header web component will make this less noticeable. But until we get support for centering based on viewport in the platform, there will always be the chance of seeing the above behavior.

If this turns out to be a blocker, there are things we can do to make it less noticeable. For instance, in the web component/buidling block, we can hide the header text until the centering logic has been given a chance to run. We can also look at doing the logic more synchronously here [1].

As a side note, this probably effects more apps than just SMS.
