We have 3 new "minimum viable contribution" badges now live on wm.org (event host, teaching kit remixer and skill sharer). Any user who is a badged Webmaker Mentor, Super Mentor or Hive Community member should have the ability to issue these 3 MVC badges. This is pretty high priority to close since it can greatly increase our contributor count. Thanks!

Yes to Hive members being able to issue the MCV badges as well.

* Can you guys confirm that Mentors and Super Mentors can already issue the MVC badges? is that working the way you guys want it? Cuz our understanding is that's already done -- let us know if that's wrong * Allowing Hive contributors to issue is just hard because we didn't set up the permission model that way when it was first built. It will require some additional work. Whereas the work for the other two is already done.
* Sounds like Hivers should be able to issue that badge, so Erik: are able to update the permission model to make that happen?

Webmaker badges has been deprecated for a while now. We're working towards retiring the Webmaker Product on bugzilla, so I'm closing this issue.
