User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140716183446 Steps to reproduce: 1. Go to http://www.showcase.ca/schedule 2. Scroll the page (e.g. arrow keys, mouse wheel, scrollbar, etc.) OR 3. Resize the window by dragging a border. Actual results: There is a 1-2 seconds delay, during which the UI is frozen, between the user action and the page being actually scrolled or resized. Reproduced with: Firefox 32.0b2 Firefox 32.0b3 Nightly 34.0a1 (20140804030205) Not an issue with: Firefox 31.0 (release) Opera 23.0.1522.60 (for comparison) Expected results: The page should scroll/resize instantly without freezing. It works in Firefox 31.
Before you ask, I have already tried: 1. Safe-mode/clean profile 2. HWA off 3. Smooth Scrolling off.
I was able to reproduce on OS X with current Nightly.
Can somebody try to get a stack using Windbg (or equivalent on other OS) https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/How_to_get_a_stacktrace_with_WinDbg
Created attachment 8469748 [details] firefox-debug_12f4_2014-08-07_21-06-06-906.log Here is my WinDbg output. I tried to break during the hang but I'm not sure that I did it in time. If needed, I can try again.
UPDATE: Firefox 31.0 (with clean profile) IS affected by this bug. In my initial test, NoScript was blocking liveinsite.com which, once allowed, seems to cause the freezing.
