Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140715214327

Steps to reproduce:

Install new (fresh and clear) Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.
Tried to install IBM Warehouse server 10.5.

Actual results:

Got message that IBM installer can not find browser.

In Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit (also in OpenSuse 13.1 64 bit ) during Firefox start message GLib-CRITICAL **: g_slice_set_config: assertion 'sys_page_size == 0' failed generates. Message is visible if firefox start in command line. Firefox (version 31) start.

Warehouse installer strongly depends on correct execution of Firefox, and installation can not proceed.

Expected results:

Launchpad start and installation proceed.

Note: DB2 Warehouse 10.5 installed correctly on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (test was done immediately after unsuccessfull instalation on 14.04). Another test was done on Opensuse 13.1 where firefox generates the same message and installation can not proceed.

Any fix on Firefox (Ubuntu?) side?
