Details
The effect we use for overscroll (as seen in Gaia at least) looks a little odd in a horizontally scrolling container. The same effect applied to the opposite axis might work. STR: 1. Load http://bit.ly/1tXHd8Y (or any horizontally-scrolling page) in Firefox OS Browser. 2. Swipe to scroll to the end of the page Expected result: Overscroll effect reflects the direction of the scroll Actual result: The page dips down diagonally at 45deg to the direction of scroll

This looks like the desired behavior to me (i.e. what UX wanted).

As discussed on IRC, closing as dupe of bug 1037180 which concerns tweaking the overscrolling parameter to get a better UX.
