Details

Bug 1049533 blocks the FinFisher malware addon that was leaked to Github recently. We should presumably have FHR data indicating how many users had this addon installed, and I think country-level location (from IP gelocation) indication where these installs were. Ditto for this data varying over time.

Given the reputation of FinFisher being used by repressive regimes, I think it would be helpful for Mozilla to shine some light on its usage. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FinFisher

For future requests, this kind of data is now available self-serve in a few ways, e.g. via sql.telemetry.mozilla.org
