Details

(Whiteboard: [uservoice])

From uservoice: " I've been using Firefox's native dev tools exclusively for a bit now, forcing myself to not cling to Firebug. While I'm quite impressed with the progress, there are a few details that ultimately made me return to Firebug for now - most significantly the representation of objects in the console. As discussed on IRC, here's an example that showcases many of the differences: http://sandbox.tiddlyspace.com/ffdevtools devtools: http://i.imgur.com/HI3OG3Z.png Firebug: http://i.imgur.com/7VGTzh5.png As you can see (even by the amount of screen estate occupied), Firebug's output is a lot more concise and generally more visually distinctive. Of course there's a trade-off there, but most of the devtools rendering seems like uninformative noise at the moment. I understand an improved representation of pseudo-arrays is already on the agenda, so that will probably make a big difference already." link: http://ffdevtools.uservoice.com/forums/246087-firefox-developer-tools-ideas/suggestions/6263603-concise-object-representations-in-the-console
Bug 1096289 was filed later about the same issue, but since it has more context, I'll mark this one as duplicate.
