I'm aware we've been having a lot of service interruptions (most notably hg), and although we have been doing a ton of work to improve things, a lot of this great stuff maybe isn't so visible to the people we provide these services to. I think it would be cool if there was a landing page somewhere which detailed service outages that have occurred/are occuring, but also gave detailed information (or links to bugs) about activities that are underway and have already been implemented to improve the situation. Basically, a bit of PR to show what we are doing to fix things, and place devs can go to read about what the status is, see the history of issues, etc. I think this would be useful not only for us to keep track of initiatives, but also for others to get involved, share ideasa, and provide a clear view of things, helping to engage all those who contribute but are impacted by service interruptions and performance issues.
