STRs:
1. Tap Dialer application.
2. Write phone number with pause (for example: 655655655,,,6956,,,695,,69)
3. Tap call button.
4. Call established.
5. Hung up call.
6. Tap Dialer application.
7. Write *same* phone number *without pause* (for example: 655655655)
8. Call established.
9. Hung up call.
10. Tap call log button.

Actual result:
An unique entry with this phone number.

Expected result:
An entry with phone number with pauses and other with phone number without pauses.

Actual Results: Dialer App does not correctly log dialed numbers.

The actual result is how it works on android, i.e. it only displays the main phone number (no pauses), and there is a single entry in the call log, no matter if you put pauses in it or not.

Are we sure we want to display pause symbols in call log, and that we want to display different entries in the call log when you dial the same number but using pauses?

There is no specific written requirement about this. Sorry.

IMHO, user is just making a call to the phone number ( and later adding some pauses and commands)but the dialer will show that you are calling the phone number, right? so call log no need to add more complexity. Again, IMHO, both dialer and call log are fine just including the phone number.

As discussed in bug 911055 comment 55, we will follow the implementation of other phones and pauses will not be displayed in the call log.
