We're getting many new contributors from a link to One and Done from the Nightly first run page. We're probably going to add links to the Aurora and Beta channel first run pages too. Right now, since there aren't filters on the Create task page for this, I'm using keywords to tag these tasks. Since there are clear groups of tasks that you can test on different Firefox channels, I'd like to have checkbox filters for those channels to encourage users to focus on the channels they're prepared to test.

I'm not sure I understand what you want. Currently for a task we can assign a Team and a Project, and can also assign multiple keywords. Would Nightly, Aurora, and Beta qualify as Projects? If so they can be created via the admin and then assigned to tasks.

I want them to show up in the sidebar on the main page where tasks are listed. I see what you mean though; if we call them Projects, then we can only select one project category for each task. We could add another dropdown for the channel, maybe?

That's a possibility, but we want to be careful about adding "too many things". This is something we should address in our next meeting.

Is this addressed by the links added to the front page? It also is addressed by the ability to search on keywords. Adding so many things to the projects list will make the checkbox list extremely long. I would suggest not adding them. Add to the next meeting agenda if you'd like to discuss further.

I believe this has been resolved by all of the items from Comment 4, closing as 'won't fix'.
