steps to reproduce:
1\ Add bn-Avro keyboard in settings;
2\ write an sms to check the keyboard of bn-Avro;
3\ user can type bengali character but the keyboard always display english alphabet

Hi Arvin,

It's by design. Avro keyboard is an "English to Bangla Phonetic Typing" method which is like using Roman letters to input Japanese characters. You may refer to its website [1] to find more details.

Yeah, Got it.

BTW, I found another puzzling issue that when I typed 'kk'(click 'k' two times) there'll be two characters shown on screen rather than one latter mentioned on page 19[1]. Is this scene by design?

Hi Luke,

I feel so sorry to trouble you but the issue mentioned in comment5 does exist in SPRD version. After testing, there is not much doubt that the issue is introduced by the patches of bug977026. I'll ask the patch owner to help check it.

Maybe I'll need your help then:)
