The photogalleries used on many eBay pages are no longer working. Go to the URL
given abaove and scroll down to the images of the sculpture. Click on some of
the thumbnails on the right. When you click on one of these, that image should
appear enlarged on the left side. But now when you try, the progress bar
indicates that the image gets downloaded, but the image is not actually replaced
on-screen.
I'm using Linux 2001-10-16-06-trunk, but i've been seeing this for a a couple of
days. But i could not reproduce the bug on 2001-10-12-08-trunk, so this must
have been introduced very recently.

The JS functions involved when you click on a picture:
function showupdate(photoIndex, photoDisplayType)
{
document['bigPhoto'].src = testurl[photoIndex];
if (photoDisplayType == 2)
supersize('http://pics.ebay.com/aw/pics/supersize.gif',
'1473304707','0','0',photoIndex,photoDisplayType);
else
supersize('http://pics.ebay.com/aw/pics/no_supersize.gif',
'', '','','','','');
return;
}
function supersize(NewImg, item, r, t, indexURL, photoDisplayType)
{
document.supersizeimg.src = NewImg;
document.supersizelink.item.value = item;
document.supersizelink.r.value = r;
document.supersizelink.t.value = t;
document.supersizelink.indexURL.value = indexURL - 1;
document.supersizelink.photoDisplayType.value = photoDisplayType;
return;
}

Confirming bug with Mozilla trunk binariy 20011016xx on WinNT.
OS : Linux --> All.
I'm not seeing any errors in the JavaScript Console that are
relevant here. For example, load the site, clear the JS Console,
and key this in the URL bar:
javascript: showupdate(1,2)
In NN4.7 this correctly loads a picture. In Mozilla, you get no
error in the JS Console, but no picture loads, either.

Here is the "supersizeimg" element:
<A href="javascript:SendSuperSize()">
<IMG src="http://pics.ebay.com/aw/pics/no_supersize.gif" name="supersizeimg"
width="160" height="20" border="0">
</A>

And here is the "bigPhoto" element:
<IMG height="300" width="400" name="bigPhoto"
color="#CCCCCC" border="1"
src="http://abacus.sj.ipixmedia.com/abc/M28/5a2c3d31e972f4f336757ea720/i-1_B.JPG

To summarize: this seems to be the key line that is failing
document['bigPhoto'].src = testurl[photoIndex];
I'm not sure why, reassigning to ImageLib for further analyisis.
Increasing severity to major because of the importance of this site.

This bug looks like a duplicate of ImageLib bug 104817.
Attachment 53940 [details] there has this dynamic image switching:
document[imgNam].src = "http:// etc. /etc._on.gif";
document[imgNam].src = "http:// etc. /etc._off.gif";
*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 104817 ***
