From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.5) Gecko/20011011 BuildID: 2001101117 The page here uses <layer> to place weather-signs on the map. On mozilla the signs are shown below the weathermap. Reproducible: Always
Does MSIE get served different content? I can hardly imagine them serving the same stuff to MSIE because it would likely do the same thing... A bunch of these: <layer id="objektSymbol0" left="156" top="26" width="30" height="30" z-index="3" visibility="show"><a href="mitt_vaer.jhtml?x=171&y=41&lat=69.65&long=18.93&utmLat=7758132.9314956&utmLon=883924.4198812966&mapId=5000000"><img src="grafikk/symbol_store/9.gif" width="30" height="30" border="0"></a></layer>

You're right. I just checked with MSIE, and MSIE got served lines like: <div id="objektSymbol0" style="position:absolute; width:30px; height:30px; z- index:3; left: 156px; top: 26px"><a href="mitt_vaer.jhtml? x=171&y=41&lat=69.65&long=18.93&utmLat=7758132.9314956&utmLon=883924.4198812966& mapId=5000000"><img src="grafikk/symbol_store/9.gif" width="30" height="30" border="0"></a></div> Guess it's a problem with the browser-identification.
Confirming with buld 2001111303. setting P3. Accepting bug. Could not find contact information.

I've contacted tv2 (about a year ago), and they promised to check the matter. It seems like it's a problem of browser sniffing.
can someone spoof the user agent string, see if the site works ? if so, it needs [havefix][sniffing] in the status whiteboard : they just need to update their sniffer.
Spoofed with UA-string: "IE 6.0, Win XP", and the page worked like expected. Adding [havefix][sniffing] to status whiteboard.

Moz 1.3 and IE now gives the exact same result.
