Just in like bug 1050715, we should describe a bit more the description in TBPL about tests.

So TBPL is approaching EOL, so this will need to be done for treeherder instead.
I also think that tying things into https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/QA/Automated_testing would be ideal too.

I really like the idea of improving the descriptions, but the patch seems to be changing the actual job name as used throughout the whole UI.

I think the property 'desc' should actually be renamed, since it's slightly confusing at present - and then an actual description property be added after that - which can contain the additional text.

Ok, so I was about to file a bug asking for a description field to be added - but turns out we have one already, it's just not used anywhere - and also tucked away in the admin panel.

Once bug 1052489 is fixed, descriptions added via https://treeherder.mozilla.org/admin/model/jobtype/ will appear in the UI.

I updated most of them. I will come back on this once bug 1052487 is fixed (I have to open all of them to see what is missing).
